We are looking for a Java Software Developer for our client operating in the banking sector.

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development
• Must have professional experience in the banking sector
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain banking applications and services, implementing new features and resolving technical issues.
• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and manage database operations using Oracle SQL, including query optimization and data management.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing banking systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Work within an Agile development environment and actively contribute to project delivery processes.
