Job summary:

• This position is responsible for physically monitoring current stock levels, as well as receiving and delivering goods, loading and unloading vehicles, moving goods, stocking shelves, handling the correspondence, opening packages, answering customer inquiries, and doing any other related activities as required by supervisors; Issuing and existing inventory, so it is easily and safely accessible.

Job duties

• Prepare items for shipment including picking, packing, work orders, bills of landing and shipping orders
• Stack and place items in warehouse racking
• Waste management and recycled paper/cardboard
• Check hazardous substances are controlled, labeled, and handled in accordance with HSE rules and regulations
• Carry out periodic and special inventories. Physical inventory and cycle counts
• Receiving materials
• Internal transfer of materials from one department to another manually or using material handling equipment
• Manage, control, transfer and receive repair equipment from Vendor
• Perform daily and pre-use inspections of equipment to include forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
• Maintains integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory by location
• Coordinate OS&D & NCR reports
• Performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities
• Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
• Inventory accuracy

Requirements

Experience:

• 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment

Language skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Azeri
• Good knowledge of English and Russian is an asset

Technical skills:

• Ability to work in a logical and structured manner, keeping excellent records and a disciplined approach to data management and filing
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Knowledge of stores management techniques and systems, particularly in a project manufacturing environment
• Conversation with inventory management and stock counting

Equpment skills:

• IT skills (MS Excel essential, need to be completely comfortable with Web-based applications, ERP and barcode system experience would also be an advantage, Email essential)
• SAP experience preferable

Soft skills:

• Ability to take the initiative
• Committed and dedicated to assigned activities

Other:

• Preferable knowledge of COSHH datasheet and hazardous materials handling
