Position Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring outstanding guest service, smooth operations, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards. The role also involves leading and developing the team and supporting the achievement of operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure a consistently high level of service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, motivate, and support the restaurant team during daily operations.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure all service standards, hotel policies, and operating procedures are followed.
• Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated and addressed.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambiance.
• Assist with monitoring sales, costs, stock levels, and operational performance.
• Support upselling initiatives and activities aimed at maximizing restaurant revenue.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Assist with special events, promotions, and VIP guest arrangements.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager when required.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Strong passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
