Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual, interim, and quarterly financial reporting packages in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare quarterly estimated profit tax reports and annual profit tax returns.
• Develop monthly management reports, including variance analysis of profit and loss items, and provide relevant financial insights.
• Coordinate external audit activities relating to financial statements and profit tax returns.
• Participate in project meetings with the Operator and contribute to discussions on financial matters.
• Participate in partner audits and inventory counts conducted within the scope of the project.
• Respond to financial queries and provide accurate, detailed explanations and supporting information to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reporting deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, IFRS standards, applicable legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of financial reporting and control processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in external auditing, preferably with a Big Four firm, and/or financial reporting.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial accounting, and financial reporting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements and disclosure notes independently or with minimal supervision.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in financial reporting.
• Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts, standards, and requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, meet deadlines, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
