Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent training
• English language proficiency at Intermediate level (B1), with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• 1-2 years of work experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel)
• Experience with Opera PMS, Micros POS and other hotel systems is an advantage
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties:

• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Department.
• Check, verify and update daily revenue for all hotel departments and distribute the Daily Revenue Report
• Audit and verify all rebates, voids and discounted transactions and obtain the required approvals
• Review guest folios and Micros checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile all guest payments processed by credit card on a daily basis
• Perform periodic house bank audits for all cashiers
• Prepare the daily Income Package
• Review and explain room rate changes and discrepancies
• Perform daily banquet revenue reconciliations
• Audit all officer, entertainment and discounted checks on a daily basis
• Monitor compliance with hotel policies, procedures and internal controls
• Assist with Month-End closing activities and related reconciliations
• Maintain and update archives with all relevant audit documentation
• Ensure compliance with all local and corporate policies and procedures
