Aviation Services Group is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant.

Aviation Services Group is a leading provider of world-class aviation services, with a team of over 4,000 professionals across multiple branches. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee payroll accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely salary payments.
• Calculate monthly salaries, bonuses, allowances, overtime, and other employee payments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor legislation, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related tax and statutory reports.
• Calculate and monitor employee leave payments, sick leave, and other payroll-related benefits.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure the accuracy of payroll-related financial records.
• Maintain payroll documentation and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance departments on employee compensation, payroll changes, and personnel-related transactions.
• Participate in payroll audits and provide the necessary supporting documentation.
• Monitor changes in payroll legislation and ensure the timely implementation of relevant updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in payroll accounting, preferably in a senior accountant role.
• Strong knowledge of local tax legislation, labor law, and payroll regulations.
• Experience with payroll calculations, statutory reporting, and accounting reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Working conditions:

• In accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Job Location: Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport
• Work schedule: Full-time (5 days per week, from 09:00 to 18:00)
• Transportation is provided by the company from Koroglu m/s.
