Company Description Lecheq Farm & Distillery LLC, founded in 2016, is dedicated to reviving Azerbaijan’s historic tradition of producing rose oil and other fragrant botanicals. The company cultivates Rose Damascena, Lavender Augustifolia, and Mentha Piperita on 183 hectares in the Zagatala region, high in the Great Caucasus Mountains. Its modern production facility spans 3 hectares and is equipped with advanced copper distillery tankers and Veronica pots with a total capacity of 1,500 tons. Lecheq Farm & Distillery focuses on delivering high-quality, natural raw materials to the fragrance, cosmetics, and aromatherapy industries, supported by trained production teams and equipment from leading global suppliers.
Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Zagatala, responsible for managing and analyzing the company’s financial activities. This role includes preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring costs related to farming and distillery operations. The Finance Specialist will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights, and presenting clear financial reports to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Accounting, with experience in general ledger management and reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and operational performance.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
- Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to work on-site in Zagatala.
