Финансовый менеджер

Job Summary:

• As a Finance Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, sound cash flow management, and strong internal controls. Working closely with Finance leadership and senior management, you will lead the finance team and support informed business decisions across a growing group. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on financial expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role;
• Solid practical experience in financial reporting and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes;
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management;
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and Azerbaijani accounting and tax legislation;
• Experience leading or coordinating a finance team;
• Strong Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and a good command of English;
• ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or another relevant professional qualification (completed or in progress);
• Experience working in a group or multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial records;
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes;
• Prepare monthly management reports and periodic financial statements;
• Coordinate annual budgeting and regular forecasting, and analyse actual performance against plan;
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, including cash planning and payments;
• Coordinate tax reporting and compliance with internal teams and external advisers;
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures;
• Lead and develop the finance team, including setting priorities and reviewing work;
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business decisions.
