Əsas vəzifələr

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs on site telecommunications systems.
• Install, terminate and test copper and fibre-optic cabling, including patch panels and associated connections.
• Support telephone systems, UHF/VHF radio, CCTV, public address systems and IP networks.
• Provide first- and second-line telecoms support and first-line IT support, coordinating with specialists and the Help Desk when required.
• Assist with equipment installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and system upgrades.
• Plan maintenance activities, prepare work orders and maintain accurate technical records, daily logs and shift handovers.
• Manage equipment inventories, spare parts and system backups, and monitor the calibration status of test equipment.
• Follow HSE, permit-to-work, isolation and digital security procedures, and support site emergency response duties as required.

Tələblər

• At least 1 year of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field.
• Relevant technical education, training or certification in telecommunications, IT, electronics or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of structured copper and fibre-optic cabling, including installation, termination, testing and fault finding.
• Working knowledge of telephony, CCTV, radio systems and IP networks, including switches, routers, IP addressing, DHCP and DNS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to use telecommunications and electrical test equipment, including multimeters, optical power meters and RF wattmeters.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals, and record technical changes accurately.
• Awareness of hazardous-area requirements, laser safety and radio-frequency safety.
• Good spoken and written English, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Knowledge of Russian would be an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
