We are looking for a Service Technician to join a wind energy project.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a technical background in electrical, electromechanical or mechanical maintenance. Previous experience in wind energy is preferred, but candidates with relevant industrial maintenance experience will also be considered.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance of wind turbines
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues
• Assist with repair and replacement of turbine components
• Check equipment alarms and fault history through SCADA
• Read electrical diagrams, drawings and technical instructions
• Use measuring and diagnostic tools
• Complete maintenance reports, work orders and checklists
• Follow all HSE and safe working procedures

Requirements:

• Technical background in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams
• English sufficient to understand technical procedures and prepare basic reports
• Valid driving licence
• Ability and willingness to work at height, including climbing wind turbine towers above 100 metres
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Previous wind energy experience
• Wind Energy certification
• Experience in electrical/electromechanical or industrial maintenance
