• Working hours: 09:00–18:00 (break: 13:00–14:00)

We are looking for an engineer to develop software for radio systems covering digital signal processing devices, the reception, processing and generation of control commands, and the processing of digital and analog control commands on microcontroller platforms. This is a software position: developing firmware and algorithms, not designing the board itself.

Responsibilities

• Developing embedded software (firmware) for microcontrollers that implements the reception, processing and generation of control commands;
• Implementing digital signal processing algorithms (filtering, demodulation, generation of control sequences) on microcontrollers;
• Developing drivers and low-level software for peripherals: ADC/DAC, data exchange interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-232/485, Ethernet);
• Processing and converting analog and digital control signals, and interfacing them with actuators at the software level;
• Debugging firmware on hardware test benches, diagnosing and resolving real-time faults;
• Working with circuit designers on component selection (microcontrollers, ADC/DAC, sensors);
• Developing and executing test scenarios, documenting test results;
• Maintaining technical and software documentation for the project.

Requirements

• Higher technical education (radio engineering, electronics, automation, instrument engineering, computer science and engineering or a related field);
• Experience developing embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers (STM32, AVR, MSP430, Cortex-M and similar);
• Understanding of digital and analog circuit design, ability to read schematic diagrams;
• Basic knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP): filtering, sampling, spectral analysis;
• Experience with data exchange interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.);
• Skills in debugging embedded software using JTAG/SWD debuggers, an oscilloscope and a logic analyzer;
• Experience with version control systems (Git);
• Ability to work independently and in a team with circuit designers and algorithm developers

Nice to have

• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS and similar);
• Experience developing automatic control or telemetry systems;
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, CAN, DNP3, OPC UA);
• Experience preparing documentation in accordance with ESPD (Unified System for Program Documentation);
• Experience with domestically produced components (Milandr, NIIET, etc.).
