The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Primary Homeroom Teacher – Maternity Leave Cover (Full-Time)

Address: Baku, Samad Vurghun street 151

Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in pedagogical field;
• At least 1-3 years of experience in the appropriate field;
• Ability to use modern educational and electronic equipment (smart boards, tablets, computers, etc.) in the classroom;
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, C1 level of English excellent language skills
• Relevant sertificates;
• Experience in using MS Office and Windows software packages;
• To establish effective communication with students and parents, school leaders, teachers and support staff

Main responsibilities:

• Organizes and supports students as a homeroom teacher, helping them develop respect for their country and environment.
• Maintains regular communication with parents and involves them in students’ development.
• Conducts lessons appropriate to students’ age, using different teaching methods and materials.
• Prepares lesson plans and ensures the curriculum is fully covered.
• Supervises and supports the work of other teachers in the team.
• Develops annual and daily plans, and monitors and evaluates progress.
• Participates in professional meetings and suggests improvements to teaching practices.
• Continuously works on professional development.
• Maintains discipline during lessons.
