- Venture Clienting & Scouting Execution
- Identify and research startups aligned with approved corporate use cases
- Conduct first-level screening and comparative analysis of potential solutions
- Coordinate communication between startups and internal business units during PoC stages
- Track PoC timelines, milestones, and evaluation outcomes
- Maintain structured scouting and use-case pipeline tracking
- Investment Analysis Support
- Conduct preliminary commercial and market analysis of potential investment targets
- Prepare screening summaries and support drafting of Investment Committee materials
- Compile due diligence documentation and coordinate information collection from founders
- Support portfolio monitoring and performance reporting
- Innovation Intelligence & Reporting
- Draft sections of industry intelligence and VC-perspective reports
- Collect, structure, and analyze data on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
- Prepare presentation materials for internal stakeholders
- Data & Process Management
- Maintain startup database and CRM accuracy
- Track historical scouting initiatives and outcomes
- Ensure reporting consistency and data reliability
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, management, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with various programs, data analysis, and internet technologies
- Ability to identify emerging trends and think creatively
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and professional presentation skills
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field, such as corporate innovation, consulting, venture capital, or startups
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and/or support systems for entrepreneurship development
- Personal interest in technology, innovation, the startup world, and entrepreneurship
