Role Description The PL/SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database procedures, functions, and packages to support core financial applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and optimizing PL/SQL code, implementing and managing database triggers, and supporting ETL processes for data integration and reporting. The role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure data integrity and performance. Documentation of technical solutions, participation in code reviews, and adherence to development standards are integral parts of the position. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Baku.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong programming and PL/SQL development skills, including experience with procedures, functions, and packages.
• Candidates should possess expertise in database triggers and core database concepts, including performance tuning and data integrity.
• Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and data integration between systems.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical skills for understanding business requirements, designing solutions, and troubleshooting issues.
• Candidates should possess software development knowledge, including version control practices, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Beneficial qualifications include experience in financial services or banking systems, familiarity with Oracle tools, and exposure to modern application stacks (e.g., Java, React).
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Baku, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English and local languages.
