BSY is seeking a Reporting Specialist to improve coordination around project delays.

Location: Baku, Garadagh district (Address: 25th km Salyan Highway (Baku-Astara Highway)

Baku Shipyard (BSY) is one of Azerbaijan's leading industrial enterprises specializing in shipbuilding and ship repair, operating as part of AZCON Holding. With modern production facilities and a skilled workforce, the company provides construction, repair, and maintenance services for various types of vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly internal project reviews and monthly progress reports for all active projects.
• Build and maintain a multi-project dashboard covering progress, milestones, manpower, procurement, payments, risks and open actions.
• Prepare client progress reports and presentation decks in the agreed contractual format, including milestone and payment status.
• Record minutes of project and management meetings.
• Track actions, owners and due dates through to closure.
• Maintain project registers for actions, risks and issues, variation orders, correspondence and document status.
• Collect and cross-check data from planning, production, procurement and finance, resolving inconsistencies before issue.

Requirements

• English at a minimum of B2 (Upper-Intermediate), with the ability to communicate professionally with the manager daily, write emails and explain reports and presentations.
• Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Expert Excel skills in pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays and charts, and advanced PowerPoint skills for management and client presentations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management or a related field.
• At least 4 years’ experience in project reporting, project controls or a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including data models, DAX measures and published dashboards.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms and Power Automate for shared trackers and automated data collection.
• Clear visual communication through one-page summaries that senior management can read in a minute.
• Accurate minute-taking and follow-through of actions to closure.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• An organised, deadline-driven approach.
• Confidence presenting to senior management.
• Fluent Azerbaijani.

Preferred

• Experience in shipbuilding, construction, oil and gas or manufacturing.
• A certificate course in Power BI, data analysis or advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or 1C for extracting cost, man-hour and procurement data.
• Russian language skills.

Conditions

• Mainly office-based, with regular site walks and vessel visits under shipyard HSE rules.
• Working schedule: 5 days a week, from 08:00 to 17:00;
• Lunch and transportation are provided by the company;
