Leading Design Architect

Description

• Lead coordination and preparation of architectural drawings for final issue, including Shop Drawings and As Built stages
• Supervise and coordinate architectural works across disciplines (architects, engineers, consultants)
• Prepare and submit detailed Weekly and Monthly activity reports for the architectural team
• Plan and design buildings based on research, functional requirements, and construction codes
• Determine project-specific design parameters including spatial relationships, materials, equipment, and finishes
• Develop project layout and integrate engineering components into a unified design
• Conduct site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved plans and architectural intent
• Review and recommend approval/disapproval for proposed design changes and variations
• Manage the coordination and quality control of all architectural design submittals
• Lead and oversee procurement of specified architectural materials and finishes

Required knowledge and skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

Specific areas of expertise:

• Architectural design management, construction detailing, shop drawings, interdisciplinary coordination

Work experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in architectural design and site-based coordination

Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and MS Office
• Fluent in Azerbaijani; proficient in English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage

Special requirements

• Strong leadership and coordination capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of local and international building codes and materials
• Experience in managing large-scale projects from design to construction
• Ability to review and adapt design changes based on site conditions
