Role Description The Human Resources Manager at Wegros is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing core HR functions that support a distributed workforce. On a day-to-day basis, this role manages recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes. The Human Resources Manager administers onboarding and offboarding, maintains employee records, and supports performance reviews and feedback cycles. They provide guidance on HR policies, handle employee relations matters, and help ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and internal procedures. The role also collaborates with leadership to develop HR practices that align with Wegros’ mission and culture, and promotes engagement, inclusion, and professional development across the team.
Qualifications
- Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices for remote and distributed teams.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using HRIS or HR management tools, along with general digital literacy for remote collaboration platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in HR management or business partnering; experience in mission-driven or international organizations is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
